Ready to see some fabulous photos from Shakara Couture? The Nigerian brand, owned by creative director Ewemade Erhabor Emokpae, draws its inspiration from from the 1950′s, a decade which has heavily influenced the brand and its signature cuts and shapes, for its 2013 ad campaign.
For this ad campaign titled ‘There is no such thing as too much glamour‘, they’re going back in time. The campaign draws its inspiration the 1950′s housewife who was known for doing her daily chores in a full outfit. With pieces from its luxe collection, this campaign has models doing the basics like keeping up appearances, trimming the hedges and doing some fruit shopping at the market.
