The National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited all 10 academic programmes run by Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa.
In a press statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Okitipupa, the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Tolu Odugbemi expressed delight at the achievement and attributed the success to team work.
``I thank the staff and students for their cooperation, diligence and team work in OSUSTECH; we started academic programmes in January 2011 and in less than three years all 10 programmes presented had been accredited,’’ he said.
The fully accredited courses included Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Chemistry, Geophysics, Physics, Botany, Microbiology, Zoology and Fisheries.
The statement, however, said that Biochemistry was only granted interim accreditation.
