Entertainment TV channel, Channel O, has announced that Nigerian star, Naeto C, and South African rapper, AKA, would host its 10th annual Channel O Africa Music Video Awards on November 30 at the Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, Soweto, South Africa.

“I’m really excited to host this year’s Channel O Africa Music Video Awards, especially on its 10th anniversary. To be a part of this experience is totally awesome and I look forward to sharing this magical moment with the rest of Africa on November 30th,” Naeto C said, according to a statement by the event organisers.
AKA, who was also quoted in the statement, thanked Channel O and his fans and promised a classic night.
“I am very honoured to co-host this celebration of Africa’s finest talent with Naeto C. I won my first Channel O Music Video award in 2011 and two years later, being in this position is a testament to my loyal following. Thank You to Channel O and the fans, it’s going to be a classic night,” he said.
Naeto C is a multiple Channel O award winner, with the highly coveted Video of the Year award for his blowout hit, Ki Ni Big Deal, in 2009; Most Gifted Hip Hop Video award for Ako Mi Ti Poju in 2010; and Most Gifted African West Video for 10 Over 10 in 2011.
AKA was a multiple nominee in 2013, three entries in the Video of the Year category – for his own song “Jealousy” and two collaborations, Hit ‘Em Up, with Xtatic and Priddy Ugly, and #DatsWasup with Zeus and Tumi.
