Wizkid who had just finished thrilling the crowd with his performance at about 3:26am, asked his manager,
Godwin Tom too hand him two bale of N500 notes, supposedly around the sum of N100,000. the singer then threw the money into the crowd and left the stage.
He and his entourage left the venue immediately without the knowledge of the disaster he had caused.
This led to a fight among the fans in the crowded place as they tried to hound themselves in a bid to get to some of the money.
This further led to a stampede which lasted for about 30 minutes as the stage security couldn’t stop the disaster.
It took the intervention of more security officials and show host Omobaba who pleaded for the crowd calm down
