We have been dully informed of the death of Alhaji Ademola Fashola, Lagos state governor Babatunde Fashola's father. He passed away this morning in Lagos.
It seems that he died after battling an illness. It would be recalled that last year, amid-st the Lagos Doctors' strike, he was flown to the United States for medical treatment. The deceased would have celebrated his80-years jubilee next month.
Governor Fashola's Special Adviser on Media, Hakeem Bello, who was with Governor Babatunde Fashola in Saudi Arabia, confirmed the information when contacted.
