Despited the protests against the Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwase II's decision, he has rescinded his decision to renounce his royal title, Ogiame, and as well as abolish some ancient Itshekiri cultural practices. His decision was made public this afternoon Tuesday September 10th at the Kings Palace by one of his High Chiefs, Rita Lori Ogbebor, who read from a statement that was issued by 22 Palace Chiefs
